The school believes in its methods of experiential education because they provide not only classroom experience for students but opportunities for students to participate in real situations at real companies. Master of Accounting

In Master of Accounting degree program at the University of Oregon, students are provided with the skills and knowledge they need to start their professional careers in the field of accounting. The degree focuses on professional development but also places emphasis on leadership and teamwork.

The curriculum for the program is designed to push the student’s academic boundaries. Instead of focusing solely on accounting, students can work with other students studying other disciplines. Oregon State University

College of Business

The Oregon State University College of Business aims to provide its students with a practical education. They aim to deliver an education in the application of the skills students need to succeed both in business and in global issues.

The College of Business offers a dynamic and diverse set of programs that have supported its reputation as a prestigious school of business. The school offers programs like the Austin Entrepreneurship Program as well as the Austin Family Business Program. In addition to these programs, the College of Business also absorbed the School of Design and Human Environment and now offers degrees in interior design, apparel design and even merchandising management.

Accountancy and Master of Business Administration

Students who participate in the Accountancy Masters of Business Administration are well prepared for a long career in leadership and accountancy. The program offers a unique blend of the curriculum of a Masters of Accountancy degree with the skills and general classes that the MBA program offers.

The program is designed to last nine months for students who already have an undergraduate degree in accountancy. The degree is made up of three separate terms and students will take eight MBA courses during this time. The rest of the degree will be filled with courses in advanced fields of accountancy. The program requires that students participate in some daytime courses.

Students who successfully complete this degree will be able to call themselves professionally competent in areas like:

• Preparation of financial statements
• Interpretation of the implications of financial information on a business
• Preparation of individual and business tax returns
• Understanding major concepts in auditing
• Ability to assess risk
