As long as you have some time to work on assignments and connect with other students a few times a week, you can enroll in an online program.

Kansas State University

Global Campus

Kansas State University, better known as Kansas State, is the state’s largest public university. Founded in 1863 as an agricultural school, it opened its doors in the same year that Kansas officially became a state. Though the college added several other certificate and degree programs, it did not become a university until the 1950s. Kansas State has a large campus in Manhattan, but it also operates a Global Campus online. The university launched this online campus as a way to give students all across the country and around the world access to more educational and learning opportunities.

Professional Master of Business Administration

Through its Global Campus, Kansas State University now offers a Professional Master of Business Administration, which lets you earn your MBA online. When you first enroll, the university will look at your college transcript to determine the number of classes you must take. Those with a strong background of business classes may need to take as few as 30 credit hours, but some students will need to take up to 32 credit hours. Unlike other accredited finance degree programs in Kansas, this program gives students the option of meeting and greeting with their professors and other students during an orientation event that takes place every year. Even if you don’t attend this event, you will want to find out the courses you must take before enrolling. Those courses include marketing concepts and research, corporate finance, business strategies, accounting foundations and business management. Kansas State also requires that MBA students take a course on international business experiences to get a better understanding of international business topics.
