Accredited online accounting degree programs in Indiana are great for students who want to go back to school but fear they will never have enough time to finish a degree. Indiana University is the name given to a series of public colleges in Indiana. The flagship campus in this school system is the one in Bloomington, but there is a second core campus in the center of the state that the university operates with help from Purdue University. There are several regional campuses and extension center located in rural and urban areas of the state as well. IU created an online campus that it calls IU Online to help students who wanted to take summer classes and to meet the needs of distance education students. This program later grew to include full degree programs too.

Business Administration (M.B.A.)

Finding accredited online accounting degree programs is easy when you look at IU Online. It offers a Business Administration, M.B.A. program through its Kelley School of Business. Though this is an online program, you will still take the same classes and even work with the same professors you would in Bloomington or any other city. You’ll take 51 credits that include 39 business foundation courses and 12 credits from your accounting concentration, and the university offers other concentration options too. Foundation classes include quantitative analysis, economics, strategic management and business planning, topics in directed business analysis and financial management. More than 200 MBA students start IU each year, but a smaller number enroll in the online program. Many of the students you interact with include those who currently work in the field as executives, accountants or consultants. Those students have an average grade point average of 3.4 in college and an average score of 631 on the GMAT.
