About Liberty University

Reverend Jerry Falwell founded Liberty University as the Lynchburg Baptist College while he was the pastor of the Thomas Road Baptist Church. The original goal of the college was to influence the moral and ethical course of the country which led to a name change. Liberty University Admission Requirements

In order to attend Liberty University as a freshman, applicants must complete an application and provide official high school transcripts. They also must provide official ACT or SAT scores and an admission essay. Any applicants who have earned college credit after high school graduation must also provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

Liberty University Tuition and Financial Aid

Undergraduate tuition at Liberty University is $390 per credit hour for full-time attendance and $455 per credit hour for part-time. Graduate tuition is $565 per credit hour for full-time and $615 per credit hour for part-time. Tuition for doctorate programs is $595 per credit full-time and $650 per credit part-time.

In order to qualify for any financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
